Personal yoga sessions provide an opportunity for one-on-one assistance to ease into a yoga practice with safety and support, to deepen your yoga practice, to help develop an at-home practice or to address specific injuries or limitations where yoga may be helpful.

BASIC YOGA POSES
Whether you are just beginning a yoga practice or have years of experience, it is important that the yoga postures are done with careful alignment and safety. Receive step-by-step guidance in basic yoga poses in an atmosphere of acceptance and non-judgment. Learn little “tips” to gather all the inner resources of your body to make the yoga poses safer, easier and more fun.

PERSONAL PRACTICE DEVELOPMENT
It is often difficult, even for yoga teachers, to develop a personal at-home practice. Working with a guide can help provide a framework for a yoga practice that works for you. Beginning with your intentions and goals, we will develop a series of postures that can be practiced regularly at home within the challenges of your everyday life.

HEALTH and HEALING
These personal sessions address any specific physical or health problems you have that can benefit from a yoga practice. Yoga has been found to be helpful for such things as relaxation; insomnia; back, knee or neck pain; headaches; and much more. Yoga poses will be offered that are geared to your needs and abilities.
